What is the best way to drink Johnnie Walker black label whiskey?

I'll second neat. Unless you like your really expensive alcohol watered down...|||There is only one drink you should ever add to good whisky - and that's more good whisky.

By the way, regardless of the complaints of the site's spell-checker, in the UK Scotch Whisky is spelt without an "e". Irish Whiskey takes the "e".

In US English this distinction is rarely made - although I believe it should be.|||Johnnie Walker Black is a blended Scotch, not a single malt, so go ahead and drink it however you like. It's not particularly interesting and even by, say, adding gingerale to it, you won't be missing out on much.|||Good whiskey like that should NEVER be chilled with ice, ice kills the flavor of good scotch.

But you should add some room temperature water to it to open up the smells and flavors.

Then just tiny sips, taking in some air with them, like when you taste wine.|||Well, if you're just starting out on Scotch, found this link that provides you how to ease into it because it's a pretty harsh taste at first.

I bought some Scotch just to try it out. Hasn't been working out for me though--much prefer a dark beer!|||In a glass with ice..........

Don't blow $$$$ of good booze and then water the **** down in mixes. You water down funky bottom shelf booze.|||From the bottle.|||On the rocks|||neat
