What's the difference between Johnnie Walker Black Label and Johnnie Walker Red Label?

I saw that these two whiskies' price differs so much, what's their difference?|||It depends on the blend and the age they are matured for.

There are also gold, green and blue as well as the red and black labels.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnnie_Wal鈥?/a>|||Well mujhe to sab whiskey's ek jaise lagte hain... i only know one thing that they get go wild.. thats it :)|||black label is more expensive then redlabel because of its flavour which is more intense and strong which has come through more years of maturing the whiskey .|||one is red and one is black lol|||apart from the age

one used to be for export only (ie not for sale in uk at all)

that was some years ago|||Most of the answers have got it right it's the age that counts. What puzzles me is how you can have a whisky 18 years old. It doesn't last eighteen hours in my house|||about 拢2.50|||ageing, black normally 8 year old and above, smooth by its self , red is rot gut harsh, only good for mixers|||Johnnie walker black is 12years old.

Johnnie walker red label is 8 years old. (this are the cheapest ones)|||Black label is better than red. Most whiskey is blended, to give it its unique taste. When you mix your whisky with coke, or taste does not really matter. If you drink it neat, you can taste the difference. Black Label also matures for longer than red.|||None|||and Johnnie Walker Blue label... it's the age that they are matured for.|||the colour|||Yea, besides the cost it's the diffence in age. Mix the Red %26amp; sip the Black.
